Sesame Street Muppets Star in Pandemic Public Service Spots

Sesame Street favorites Elmo, Cookie Monster, and Rooster are the stars of four animated public service spots released by the Sesame Workshop Monday that remind young viewers to stay healthy and safe practices for sneezing and hand washing. 

The spots follow last week’s launch of Sesame Workshop’s Caring for Each Other initiative to assist families during the coronavirus health crisis. 

The spots will be distributed in 19 languages globally through partnerships with HBO, PBS Kids, YouTube, and the Ad Council.

Sesame Workshop is expected to release more new resources on creating new routines, anxiety management, and home learning techniques for parents and caregivers.
