"Frozen 2" Rules the Box Office for Thanksgiving Weekend

Disney’s “Frozen 2” is expected to take in over $320 million by the end of the holiday weekend making it the eight largest domestic release in 2019. The sequel to the blockbuster “Frozen” which earned $1.28 billion globally and Oscar for Best Animated Feature and Best Original Song. 

“Knives Out” the all-star cast murder mystery from Lionsgate is expected to pull in $20-$25 million buoyed by great word of mouth and reviews. 

Universal’s “Queen & Slim” is on track for a better than expected $12-17 million weekend. The movie about a couple on the run stars “Black Panther” and “Get Out” star Daniel Kaluuya and newcomer Jodie Turner- Smith.
